The Harbour Inn – Garlieston

Dinner by the Sea

For guests staying at Seascape, this couldn't be much more convenient.

The Harbour Inn is less than five minutes' walk away and overlooks the harbour in the picturesque village of Garlieston.

The traditional inn serves lunch and evening meals, alongside Sunday lunch and takeaway options.

Enjoy dinner or a drink before taking a slow evening walk around the harbour and waterfront.

Being able to leave the car behind makes this one of the real pleasures of staying at Seascape.

The Hive – Garlieston

Also just a short walk from Seascape, The Hive is a lovely family-run café beside Garlieston Harbour.

It's ideal for a leisurely breakfast, brunch or lunch, with barista coffee, homemade food, cakes and scones.

Start the morning with coffee overlooking the village before heading out to explore, or call in after a walk along the coast.

The Hive also holds occasional special food evenings and events, so it's worth checking what's happening during your stay.

We always recommend checking current opening hours and booking ahead for evening meals, particularly at weekends and during busy holiday periods.

For guests staying at Seascape, having The Harbour Inn and The Hive within walking distance is a real advantage — leave the car behind and enjoy Garlieston at a slower pace.

If you're staying at Claunch, make dinner part of a relaxed evening before returning to the peace of the farm and your private hot tub.

And from Broughton, Wigtown, Newton Stewart, Garlieston and the Isle of Whithorn are all within easy reach.
